Can you believe it’s time again for my monthly book review?!

These are the books I read in May:

⭐️ Good Little Wives
⭐️ King of Wrath
⭐️ Moti on the Water (didn’t finish)
⭐️ When the Summer Was Ours
⭐️ Before the Fall
⭐️ The Wife Stalker
⭐️ The Shippers

I’ve been excited to read Katherine Center’s newest book (The Shippers) and it did not disappoint!

Rating the books I read in April with facial expressions…I can’t believe it’s the end of April! Only 5 books this month!

If you want a little more info on the books, keep reading. Or just judge by my face!

⭐️ The Golden Hour by Beatriz Williams - historical fiction set in Nassau when the Duke of Windsor was governor. A decent read overall, but a little slow in parts.

⭐️ The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez - I’m a huge Abby fan. While I liked it, it wasn’t my favorite of hers.

⭐️ If He Had Been With Me by Laura Nowlin - I borrowed this one from my 18yo and was pleasantly surprised by this high school love story. There’s a sequel also.

⭐️ The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese - this one follows a family in India. It was really good in parts, and brutally boring in parts.

⭐️ Bourbon & Proof by Victoria Wilder - the final in a 3 book series and my favorite of the three. If you like romance (open door), but need a good storyline to go along with it - you should read her bourbon boys series. Seriously. Great plots with just enough romance.

Time again for Rating Books Using Facial Expressions! You’re going to have to forgive the no makeup (hello, rosacea!) and ignore any sniffles I might make (though I think I held them in mostly)…I’m fighting a nasty cold this week.
