Welcome to the Grand Garcia kitchen and pantry — a set of spaces thoughtfully designed to support both everyday family life and the rhythm of a working chef. Unlike a traditional kitchen layout, this home features three interconnected spaces: the main kitchen, a dedicated chef’s kitchen, and a pantry designed to support both. From the beginning, the priority in these areas was clear: functionality first. Because these spaces are used daily by the Garcia family and their personal chef, our team worked closely alongside him throughout the organizing process. His insight into daily routines, tools, and workflow helped guide how categories were created, where items were placed, and how the spaces would ultimately function behind the scenes. In the chef’s kitchen especially, the inventory of small appliances, tools, and specialty items required a highly intentional approach. Micro-categorization, clear labeling, and thoughtful placement ensure that everything has a logical home, making it easy for anyone working in the space to find what they need quickly. Another meaningful aspect of this project was the ability to repurpose many products from the Garcia’s previous home, thoughtfully integrating them into these new spaces while maintaining both beauty and efficiency.
