For over a decade, I worked as a personal stylist, fashion blogger, and on-camera style expert. One question I kept hearing was, 'How do I dress age-appropriately?' Why, though? I understood the concern, but the idea that we need to change our style because of age? That’s nuts. Why can’t women over 40 be sexy, stylish, chic, or cool? Why should age define how we dress? I always told my clients to wear what makes them feel beautiful, confident, and strong. Whether you're a mom, grandma, in your 40s, 50s or 90s, you can still look and feel incredible! I'm 46, and I’ll be wearing what makes me feel confident and hot until the day I die. And before someone chimes in with, ‘But you don’t look your age…’ or ‘You’re thin…’ or ‘You’re not a mom,’ let me just say this: there are plenty examples of women on this app—older, plus-size, moms, grandmas—who look absolutely amazing because they don’t let society’s outdated rules dictate their style. Let’s embrace that energy! Thoughts? LTKStyleTip LTKOver40 LTKVideo
