Short answer: It depends on the product. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Long answer: There are a lot of red and blue light therapy devices out there; some are safe, FDA-approved and effective, many aren’t. The new @kosas Cloud Set Loose Powder is such a gorgeous new, acne safe setting powder and baking powder in one. I find it actually makes your skin look blurred and perfected, plus it provides that lit within glow. Your skin definitely won’t look dull with this powder! However, if you need a truly matte effect, you may want to look for another product, as you saw on my finger how it has a glowy finish. A follow up to my “overhyped or underhyped” post from last week! Why do I prefer the @rmsbeauty blush? It’s soooo much easier to work with (especially for a quick makeup look), it’s pigmented but not TOO much (and you can always layer on more) and it looks natural on the skin. The Saie one is VERY pigmented, and no matter how gentle I am with my blush brush, it always picks up way too much. If you want a BOLD blush look, the Saie one will provide it, but I think it’s overpowering. It also just looks like I’m wearing makeup, as opposed to a no-makeup makeup look, which I prefer.
