super cute snowflake pasta, perfect for those holiday parties ❄️🍝🎄thank you @barilla 💙 you can find the snowflake pasta @walmart ! ♡ ♡ ♡ INGREDIENTS: * 1 pound scallops * 1 box of barilla snowflake pasta * 2 ½ cups heavy cream * 1 stick butter * 1 ½ cup parmesan cheese * ¼ cup oil * 1 cup pasta water * ½ cup chopped parsley * ½ white onion chopped * juice of 1-2 lemons * 1 ½ teaspoons red pepper flakes * 1 tablespoon fresh chopped garlic * seasonings for taste (I used garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, paprika, & as small amount of cayenne) DIRECTIONS 1. Pat scallops dry, and season both sides with desired seasonings. 2. Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. oil. Add scallops to hot pan and cook until scallops are browned, 2-3 minutes per side. 3. Remove from pan and reserve. Transfer scallops to a plate. 4. To boiling water, add pasta and cook until al dente, 7-8 minutes. 5. Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta and set aside. 6. Return to pan used to cook scallops to medium heat and add 2 tsp oil. Add onions and garlic to hot pan and cook until fragrant. 7. Add reserved pasta cooking water, heavy cream, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, 1 cup parmesan, parsley, and season to taste. Bring to a simmer. 8. Once simmering, stir occasionally until completely combined and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes. 9. Stir cooked pasta, lemon juice, and ½ cup parmesan into hot pan until combined. 10.
