I have been using this DIY cleaner since before my daughter was born. She is now 10!! I love that it works on literally any surface, smells amazing, and is so easy and cheap to make. There is a reason I keep coming back to it year after year.

Before Dinner Reset — Simple Checklist

Quick 10–15 minute house pickup

Clear countertops + kitchen surfaces

Unload/load dishwasher or wash sink dishes

Start dinner prep or set out ingredients

Put laundry away

Reset living room (blankets, toys, books)

Have kids do a fast “family pickup”

Check tomorrow’s calendar/schedule

Fill water bottles + prep evening snacks if needed (great for toddlers who struggle with waiting for dinner)

Fill essential Oil Diffuser/ turn on soft music to shift the mood
