My favorite timeless tile for a kitchen or bath 🤍 Answering FAQ tile questions:

- The tile is called Ivy Hill Tile Kingston White 3 x 8” Glazed Ceramic Wall Tile from @homedepot
- We planned the tiles randomly, so the variation would look organic
- We used @mapeiusa White Grout
- We used Schulter strips for the edge tile, but would have preferred a bullnose or pencil tile!

I couldn’t find the vintage pine cabinet I wanted… so we made it 😍 I ordered this unfinished pine cabinet from @wayfair and we got to work!

After building and distressing it, we layered wood conditioner, one coat of @minwaxusa Weathered Oak (wiped off immediately), then one coat of @minwaxusa Early American (also wiped off immediately), working in sections as we went.

I loved the combo of the stain, but with the now distressed knotty pine it was reading a little more rustic than I had pictured.

So we did one more step, a super light paint wash using @fusionmineralpaint in Cathedral Taupe (about 5:1 water to paint). We brushed it on and wiped it back immediately, section by section.

That final step muted the orange tones and gave it the vintage pine look we were aiming for—subtle, warm, and collected.
