Celebrated 3 years of Confête’s existence this week! 3 years ago today, I sat nervously wondering about everything….if the website would work, if anyone besides my mom and best friends would buy anything (EVER), if everything I was doing was totally wrong and I had made a terrible decision leaving my career in journalism. In a world in which we see (what we think are) instant successes/ overnight millionaires, it can be difficult to always stay the course as an entrepreneur. It can be trying, lonely and confusing. But fast forward to 3 years in business, and this year, we’re hired our first employee, grown our remote team, done a photoshoot in another country and continue to grow in a positive direction. And more than that, total strangers have let us be a part of their most cherished events...weddings, baby showers, and other major milestones.
