5 years ago I decided to stop being a Pinterest birthday mom. It was WAY to stressful and all my kids cared about was the balloons and cake anyway.

House plant care is a form of self care for me. Here are 6 ways I care for my house plants.

I use a moisture meter to know what needs to be watered and what doesn’t.

I use Happy Happy Houseplant food to feed my plants at every watering.

Terra Cotta spikes work great with plants that needs slower watering or if you are leaving for an extended period of time.

Fungus gnats are always bad in the summer months. I use pre made neem oil once a week to help combat them.

When the gnats are bad I add sticky traps in the plants themselves and also use blue light traps. Gross right?

I use have a propagation wall over my fireplace and is use cute colorful bud vases to house them. I change the water about twice a month!
