HOW TO REHAB YOUR NATURAL NAILS AFTER GEL MANICURES

I swear by these two polishes! The bond builder one helps fill in ridges and build back your nail. I like the clear pink strengthener on top for added help and so it looks like my nails are still polished.

For polished nails, I do 2 coats of the bond builder, wait 10 min, then add 2 coats of the pink one. I add another pink coat every day for 6 days. The results are insane!

CURRENT BLOWOUT ROUTINE

If you want big bouncy curls and have type 1a hair or straight, fine hair in general, let this be your guide.

Starting with an oldie, but a goodie, the Tresemme Keratin heat, protectant spray is super affordable and protect my hair just as well as my more expensive products. I next to use color wow Dreamcoat since it’s horrifically, humid, and hot this summer in New York City! It’s the only thing that keeps frizziness at bay.

This new Pantene strengthening treatment spray has an absolute choke hold on me. You can apply it to wet or dry hair daily and it helps strengthen color treated hair or damaged hair in general.

I recently organized all my Velcro rollers into its own carry case, which makes it easy for traveling this summer. It packs away easy, just like my Dyson and its own carrying case.

While not linked here, I feel everyone should know how great the Trader Joe’s leave in conditioner is! Dare I say it’s exactly like the Ouai one, scent and all!!

GYM TO OFFICE BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

As a seasoned boutique fitness girly in the 2010s, I know how to pack a bag in the morning that will last me all day and through happy hour or a date… If I want.

My make up lineup packs a punch and covers all the bases: travel size, skin care, sunscreen, and make up and my go to CC cream. You can get by with one blush brush (and a powder one if you use it) and a beauty blender and be good to go for the day and night ahead.

I pack a travel size brush for my hair and use the studio shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Everything fits into this adorable checker board print pouch it’s part of a set of three which got me by traveling in Europe last summer. They’re amazing and super super affordable.

HOW TO GET RID OF DEEP ACNE FAST

One of the best investments I ever made for my skin was getting a high frequency wand. This is something that my aestheticians have been using on me since I was in high school when I had a really bad cystic acne.

It’s one of the best tools to have at home and create your own at home med spa in between treatments with your provider. I pull it out, especially after my period when breakouts are on high! These deep sits went away in a couple of days after continued use of this wand you see right here.

It also has an attachment for your hair, which I use after a blowout. It helps stimulate growth and keeps your scalp healthy. You can either choose a tool that has argon or neon. I currently use the neon one. The argon has also been shown to be more effective for acne.

HOW TO HAVE HEALTHY BLEACHED HAIR: EVEN AFTER 6 YEARS

I’ve been bleaching my hair since 2019 and it’s been incredibly healthy ever since! I bleach my hair every 6 to 8 weeks and it’s never had any significant breakage or looked fried on the ends.
