THE PERFECT UNDER $100 BRIDESMAID DRESS

As a millennial to how to lose a guy in 10 days dresses had a chokehold on me since college. I finally found an option that’s under $100 and it’s the perfect bridesmaid dress. I wore it for my brother’s wedding back in May and it got so many compliments.

It fits true to size. This is a size small and I wear a size 2 to 4.

These drugstore products have become recent favorites of mine, given the comparability against higher priced products. The Hale toner is almost exactly the same ingredient list as Rhode, and only five dollars.

Also loving this Trader Joe’s Dewey skin serum, which is very similar to glossier. You won’t find a better moisturizer than this one that has collagen and peptides for a plumping effect that works year round.

Finally bought the Sleepy Tie Sport, and can say it’s the real deal and having more grip when it comes to working out. I used it in my ballet class today and it was able to withstand jumps and pirouettes. It’s a must have especially if you don’t want to have dents in your hair from putting your hair in a bun with pins.

If you’ve been personally victimized by the Rhode blush, this blush stick is the one for you! It won’t rip your foundation off or disrupt any of your make up and glides on easily over anything from tinted moisturizer to more full coverage foundations. It’s also a two and one stick one side as a highlighter, and the other side is the blush.

HOW TO STORE COFFEE PODS IN A TINY APARTMENT

This Nespresso pod Lazy Susan saves an incredible amount of counter space which is key living in a tiny New York City apartment! It can hold up to 3 1/2 sleeves of pods and cuts down on the bulk in your cabinet cabinets.

I prefer it over the flat lay pod storage. That’s also out there. Horizontal space is at a premium!

MY FAVORITE HOME HACK WHEN I WAS UNEMPLOYED AND ON A BUDGET

using wax warmers to reheat the leftover wax from my favorite candles helped me stretch each candle to an overall burn time of almost 3 months!

You can do this with your more expensive candles or if you’re on a budget get an affordable candle like the ones that I normally get from Trader Joe’s that are $3.99! Regardless of what candle it is it’ll last you up to three months by reheating the wax

HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON TRENDY WARDROBE PIECES

Rent the Runway is the only place I get my trendy wardrobe items from because I can return them every two weeks and swap it out with something else. I used to spend anywhere between two to $400 on trendy items from fast fashion stores like Zara and once I replaced those specific items with a portion of my RTR subscription slots, my fashion spending dropped nearly in half.

TALL GIRL FRIENDLY WEDDING GUEST DRESS

I swear by MacDuggal for not only elegant and timeless wedding guest dresses but also because they’re tall girl, friendly! I am 5 foot 9 and able to wear heels with this dress without it being too short. These silver platform heels add an additional 6 inches and the ham is still perfect even though I lost most of the train in the back.
