Third day in a row making our bed! GUYS, am I woman of the year or what?! It’s so crazy how things have changed with pregnancy and now a baby. I used to LOVE making my bed. It totally set the tone for my day. Swapped out his janky paper black out shades for some nicer cordless ones and it’s made all the difference! With the old paper ones it was such a pain to put them up in between naps or in the morning, so we never did and his room has been a cave for the past few months. Loving all this natural light in his room now! I think Cos might be stoked too 🙌🏼

Cos slept for an 8 hour stretch last night and then took two of his naps in his crib today (he sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed at night right now)! Not every night is this great but we are definitely headed in the right direction 🙏🏼

Baby’s first brunch! To be completely honest, I’ve had a lot of anxiety about doing the normal things I love with a baby in tow. BUT most of the time the ANTICIPATION of something being hard or scary is so much worse than actually doing it. Thankfully that was the case this morning when we decided to just do it! We brunched at @hautecakescaffe, walked the balboa island loop with a stroller, and then breastfed Coston in public! It was awesome and baby was SO good. Hoping this gives me the confidence I need to get out of the house more next week when Mike goes back to work and it’s just baby and I figuring it out together. I’ll let you know 😅
