Mint Julep! A staple of the Kentucky Derby!

- 5 Mint Leaves
- 1/2 ounce of Simple Syrup
- Muddle
- 2 1/2 ounces of your favorite KY bourbon
- Crushed Ice (Lots of Crushed Ice!)
- Stir
- Garnish with Mint Leaves

There are so many good KY bourbons out there. I would recommend Marker’s Mark (shown here), Basil Hayden, Jim Beam, Bardstown Bourbon.
