I’m tired of being a white wall person, so I’m taking action. After countless home improvements of the maintenance variety, I’m ready to give more life to what we can actually see. And I’m very excited to take you along this journey as I say goodbye to (almost) all my white walls. PART 1– This is our largest guest room. It’s been a bit forgotten because it was “fine”, but it’s time for some major zhuzhing. First things first: a lick of paint. Decided on @farrowandball’s India Yellow because it leans old world—it’s bold and cheerful but with a ton of character. Then I changed the details, working with @anthropologiehome on these: a stunning fluted wood nightstand in a warm, classic walnut, whimsical bedding, sconces that feel more aligned, a rug to wink at the walls, and some pretty books that are nice to both browse and read for my guests’ enjoyment. The next phase of this room is already in the works (like, as I type this) and I can’t wait to share more. Exciting upgrades coming imminently!
