Like, the garlands and lights will stay up because they make me happy! 🤗 What about you? Do you take all the decor down right after Christmas?

Hiiii! It’s been awhile since I’ve really been active on Social Media. I’ve been navigating this new season of life I am in. Working full time at home now has meant putting new systems in place and figuring out what works best for me! Instead of just trying to keep my head above water, I feel like I can truly step into my place and purpose. ❤️ It’s different, new, and intimidating but so exciting!⁣

A different view from this room! It’s been almost a year since we moved in. (Seriously so hard to believe! 😲) When I saw our house listing online, one of the first things that caught my eye were the original arch windows! They may not be very energy efficient but I just love them soo much! 💖

This is the front sitting area in our house. I have to say, this has definitely been the toughest room to complete. It is still in the “styling/in-progress” phase! The dream plan is to have 2 leather accent chairs in place of the teak ones!😍 I am all about finding a deal, so I’m always okay with holding out until the perfect find comes along!

Before moving into this house, I was intimidated by the open shelving. It took me weeks to decide exactly how I wanted to decorate the shelves. Finally I just went with it, I knew the color scheme & vibe I wanted so I used that as my guidelines to help keep things cohesive. Sometimes the best way to style is to just do it and play with levels, looks, & height variation as you go!

P.S. This runner has been a great addition to the kitchen! I am super pleased with it. Especially for the price, can’t beat that!

Update on the Moroccan Pouf! I moved the coffee table out of here and replaced it with this cutie. 🤗

I did however end up adding more to the pouf than just an old queen size duvet! I added 4 more sheets to make the pouf firm and full! I really like how light and versatile this piece is.

We put up our new roller shades Thursday! (& by we, I mean G...😂 I helped clean them off and unpackage them... 🤷🏼‍♀️) We are sooo happy we went with the shades! I love how when you roll them all the way up it’s like nothing is there. ⁣

Picking the right fabric for your roller shade is a big decision. ✨⁣

You don’t want something too heavy that makes the room feel smaller, or something that is “too trendy” and will be out of style within a few years!⁣

That’s why we went with a simple, subtle textured fabric. It’s a neutral that will compliment any wall color or furniture style we choose through the years. 🥰

The last pair of long lost dining chairs arrived at our doorstep today! We had a great morning at the nursery today! 🥰 we picked up lots of vegetables to grow & Ofcourse all of the pretty flowers & vines! I always get one perineal each year and then all of the annual fillers. Last year for our perineal, we bought 2 lambs ears plants - it’s insane how much they thrive! I never knew lambs ear could grow so big. 😳 This year the perineal we picked is a Guara - it is tall & whispy with pretty pink flowers! 🌸 It only felt right to dress the part when picking out flowers so I wore my fave shirt - a flower chart graphic tee! 🤗 I’ve linked it with all of my favorite bandanas!
