I didn’t shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I realized a few of my longtime favorites are included this year, so I thought I’d share them. • The curling iron I get asked about all the time. • My favorite black boots I’ve had for a couple of years and still reach for every fall and winter. • The sneakers I own in multiple colors because they’re that comfortable. • One of my favorite tees with the slightly longer sleeves—perfect on its own or layered under sweaters and jackets. And if you noticed the pink pants… they’re not part of the sale, but they deserve a mention. They have a comfortable expandable waistband, are easy to wear all day, and now come in buttery yellow and a beautiful chocolate brown for fall. If you’re shopping the sale, these are the pieces I’d recommend because I already own and wear them—not just because they’re on sale. My favorite little dress under $30. The drop waist is so flattering, the fabric feels much more expensive than it is, and it comes in several colors.

And a little side story… one of my favorite things is meeting new people wherever we go. We recently met the sweetest couple who own a winery and meat company near Napa, Journeyman. They shared their wine and sausage with us, and I loved both so much I had to share them with you too.

Good wine, good food, a great dress and a beautiful night at home. ❤️

Two trends you’re going to see everywhere this fall: rich, deep color and animal print. I love this eggplant shade paired with the brown zebra bag—it feels current without trying too hard.

Here is what we're wearing to dinner. I am 5'7" tall and wearing a size 25 in the jeans. They don't have stretch if between sizes size up. Grace is 6'2" tall. She is wearing her regular size in the jeans. They have a longer inseam, but because she's tall they're more of an ankle Jean. If I were to wear them, I would wear them with heels. Designer-inspired sandals

These sandals are one of my all-time favorite finds. They have the designer look right down to the gold heel, but they’re now around $40.

I’m wearing them with a pink and white striped top with the cutest neckline and a matching skirt. I’m in a small in the top and an extra small in the skirt, and I’m 5’7” tall. Both pieces also work beautifully on their own—pair the top with your favorite jeans or a white denim skirt, or style the skirt with a simple white tee for a completely different look.

I finished the outfit with a designer-inspired bag for an elevated look without the designer price tag.

Shoe Sizing: I recommend sizing down a half size in the sandals.

Both the top and pants are available in many colors. Grace is 6'2" wearing her regular size in the jeans. If I ordered, they would be perfect with heels. Love the color and style. I added the Newbie ankle for a cropped look. I have them and they fit true to size. They are a similar cut to the ones Grace is wearing but have a shorter inseam.
