For the longest time, I was an Athleisure denier. It was a trend that I thought would come and go, and one that I felt encouraged guys to dress sloppily. Of course, this was in the era of “dressy sweatpants” several years ago. But Athleisure wear has demonstrated an amazing staying power, so much so that I doubt we can even call it a casual trend anymore. And there have been huge advances in how Athleisure clothing looks and feels. Take these pieces from Public Rec, for example. Their All Day Every Day pant is honestly one of my favorite casual pants for running around doing errands. And the jacket is the perfect complement.
