I then returned one damaged package even though both had technically arrived damaged. I wanted to keep it for a specific narrow space in the hallway. This carrier always gets a lot of compliments. Comfortable petite friendly pet sling. Ralphie is a 15 pound Shih Tzu. The wider non-adjustable strap is comfortable. I would say 15 pounds is about the maximum this carrier can hold. I'm 5' 2.5" and 115 pounds.
