Giving my silver plate gallery wall a polish to get it ready for its holiday dressing 🎄

This silver polish smells icky, but it works really well and pretty quickly! Once I rinsed it clean, and dried with a cloth, I polished it with h favorite glass cleaning cloth to give it that extra reflective glow 🪩 ✨

This is from last year that I forgot to share! I’m going to be doing the same thing this year, but I need to polish the silver because a lot of them have too much patina 😆 I’ll share that process!

I’ve been collecting silver plates and platters from the thirst store for about a year now, and my aunt gifted me a few that were her wedding gifts, and I knew they’d make a beautiful gallery wall around this mirror I found at the antique store.

I love how it turned out!!! Command strips make this an easy, no damage way to hang them. I added mini Christmas wreaths and greenery swags with bows for some holiday cheer 🎄

My twin boys turned 6 yesterday and are getting a mini room refresh to celebrate being big boys now (🥲).

They had their mattresses on the floor Montessori style, so getting an actual bed is a huge upgrade for them! 🙌🏼 These daybeds have pull out storage, which I love, and will hopefully help with the toy clutter.

I put the first one together today and it was pretty easy, even with 3 kids helping 🤣 I’m excited to show you the rest of the mini bedroom refresh for the boys!

Last years tree was my favorite!! Every year I feel like I adore the Christmas decor even more than the previous ones. I think that’s probably because I collect everything over time, just like my usual home decor, and just make small adjustments or additions each year.

This years additions are the flickering candle lights and I added 400 more lights that twinkle to my already pre lit tree - basically she’s glowing this year ✨🕯️ 🎄 and the way the sun comes in during the day and reflects off of the ornaments is definitely my favorite!

The year I hosted Thanksgiving for the first time, I was terrified of messing up the turkey. Pinterest told me to get a Roaster Oven. It was right.

I’ve used this countertop roaster every holiday since, and for roasting chickens throughout the year. It keeps the turkey juicy, frees up the main oven for sides, and honestly just makes hosting feel so much less chaotic.

I spotted this little wooden rocking horse at the thrift store more than once before finally going back for it — total non-buyer’s remorse moment.
After bringing it home, I gave it a quick glow up with a coat of Dark Walnut stain, some velvet ribbon, and a vintage-style brass bell. Now it feels perfectly timeless and ready for the season. ✨

My absolute favorite way to make “paintings” is by using digital download art I have printed. Then adding it to foam board as the backing, and painting mod podge on top to create brush strokes. It dries clear so cover everything, then once it’s dry you can add it to your frame.

I’ve used this method in my house so many times and it’s beautiful each time!!

Gallery walls are so fun to put together!! This is the art for my upstairs hallway and one reason I love digital downloads is you can print whatever size you need for your choice of picture frame.
