What I bought from River Island | Spring New In.

Spring officially starts next week and while I’m so ready for longer days and a bit of sunshine, the in-between dressing is difficult to navigate. One minute it feels warm and the next it’s back to winter again.

I didn’t want to buy loads of new things, just a few bits I can throw on when I’m standing in front of my wardrobe feeling clueless.

This jacket was the first thing I added. It instantly has that effortless off-duty, cool-girl look even when thrown on with leggings and trainers (you all know how much I love wearing athleisure day to day).

God knows I’m a sucker for a relaxed straight leg jean. It’s the most universally flattering style on every body shape, immediately balances your proportions, elongates your legs and is by far the easiest style to dress up or down for different occasions.

I wanted to keep it simple underneath with a neutral tee. I loved the sleeves on this one, it’s perfectly practical for those confusing-weather-days.
Then added brown heeled ankle boots and gold details to glam everything up slightly.

The whole outfit looks effortlessly cool, a bit YSL-coded and nothing overly styled, just versatile bits I know I’ll genuinely wear and get my moneys worth!

Just want to preface by saying this is the one and only cleaner that melts every ounce of make up off without making my skin feel tight and dry afterwards. Having PCOS means my skin is literally all over the place, some days it’s so dry to the point of cracking, while other days I’m covered in spots. I have not had ANY of that since using this. It’s one of the only skincare products I can absolutely say WORKS. Worth every penny.

This is quite a new addition to my collection but it’s one I’ve been reaching for far more than I expected. Power of You by Giorgio Armani has such a gorgeous feminine softness but it never feels too sweet or overly youthful if that makes sense?
I absolutely adore the notes together! The mix of passion fruit, frangipani and vanilla gives it that soft-girl warmth while still feeling polished and elevated. It feels much more “woman” rather than “girl” which I definitely prefer!

It’s quietly worked its way into my everyday rotation and I find myself reaching for it without even thinking. Always a good sign when a fragrance does that!

I bought my first pair of black Align leggings in 2018 and genuinely haven’t looked back since.

I’ve tried so many activewear brands over the years (and some are great), but nothing makes me feel as put-together as Lululemon does. The fit, the way they flatter your legs, the sculpting and the material just hits differently. (my fave is the Align fabric, aka buttery soft and literally like a second skin)

I don't feel like I'm just in “gym wear.” I train in it, walk the dog, run errands, work from home etc and it feels elevated yet effortless. Like I’ve made an effort without actually trying. This is a new colour I just bought, it's called graphite grey and it's beautiful. I mix & match all my pieces, but I especially love this grey with my Free To Be & Energy sports bras in different colours. I wear them for traveling too!

Day to day this is my uniform, I love that cool off-duty look but still comfortable and flattering.

Shopping for trends is not my style. I much prefer to take my time and really consider what I buy. Outfits I’ve worn this week | I was running my some errands and needed to be warm as it’s still quite cold!

You can’t see underneath my jacket but I’ve been religiously wearing my Holland Cooper Mohair-blend jumpers I bought just before Christmas. They have gorgeous shoulder pads too.

This is the only cleanser I can use in Winter without irritating my eczema around my eyes. It can be so sore and painful if I use the wrong products! It’s also the only gentle cleanser I’ve tried that completely removes all my make up without scrubbing, it quite literally melts off.

I’ve tried quite a few from other brands and while some feel lovely on my skin they just don’t entirely remove makeup even after 3 rounds of cleansing.

I’m on my 5th tub of this now and will happily splurge on products that prove themselves.

I wore this stunning sequin, sparkly top with bows — I absolutely love it and got so many compliments on it ✨ Plus my trusty white Zara trousers which you’ll have seen a thousand times already. It was perfect for hiding the food baby 😅 the top comes as a set with the skirt, but I didn’t fancy wearing a mini skirt during the day, but it’ll look fab for a New Years Eve outfit! I love co-ord sets so much, you can just switch items around.

Hey loves! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! 🤍🎅🏼

This year Tom and I hosted my dad and bestie — it’s been my favourite Christmas yet! We spent Christmas Eve making our traditional Smith dip (it’s basically a prawn cocktail recipe that my Great-Nan made and it’s AMAZING), played Heads Up and drank lots of champagne 🥂 Then on Christmas Day we got dressed up and went out for Christmas dinner, came home and got into our cosy pyjamas (this pic with my bestie), watched Christmas movies and chatted until late. It was so wholesome 🥰

Fun fact — I didn’t own a single pair of pyjamas so I bought myself these for Christmas and OH MY GOODNESS, the material is incredible!!! They feel amazing on your skin, so soft and lightweight, and a really stretchy waistband. I’m going to have to buy more colours! I also bought a black pair for my sister-in-law for her Christmas present 🥰

Personally this is a strong fave as you can actually wear it for multiple different occasions, not just Christmas / New Years Eve outfits. The black sparkly top is a fab number for any birthdays, parties all year round. I’ve owned these black straight leg trousers for months and they’re by far my most worn trousers for literally every smart casual occasion! I also own them in white, they’re just the best imo.

Coat is Karen Millen, unbelievably chic and looks expensive. I will wear it to absolutely any event I can, it’s a show-stopper and I get compliments / questions about every single time I wear it, without fail! Worth every penny 👏🏻
