The *Reverse* Landlord Special 1) cook painted hinges in crockpot with just water (cook on LOW overnight is best) *do not reuse slow cooker for food 2) scrub with Barkeeper’s friend 3) optional: use brasso if you want them shiny & “new” looking, I did not use brasso here 4) optional: spray with a clear lacquer spray to prevent tarnish and/or rust
