DIY a half tester canopy! I was, admittedly, intimidated to try this project. So I took it in steps: first I figured out how to get the curtains lining the back, with Velcro. Then I sewed a simple hem with lining for the valance, and stapled it on another 2x4. Yes, I did take it down three times to drop the length a bit longer, but I’m glad I did. It was far too short the first time. The I stapled simple curtains to the side, and that’s it! The”magic” length for my 8’ tall ceilings was 16”. What other questions do you have?
