okay does anyone else remember The Borrowers? because i just had a realization about myself that i genuinely was not expecting

the tiny little people living in the walls, making their whole magical world hidden in plain sight. i was absolutely obsessed as a kid.

& then i looked around my house. the little bunny on my shelf. the tiny mouse in my kitchen. my fairy garden. my little fairy pumpkin from last fall.

i have been decorating for tiny magical people my entire adult life and i only just realized this today
now i have to wonder what other movies from my childhood quietly shaped my whole design style without me even knowing.

my back has been STRUGGLING since going full time work from home. I kept ending up on the couch halfway through the day because my old chair was just not it and I refused to let my couch lose its cozy factor.
so I went on a mission. and I found her.

oversized, cloud-like, has a footrest, lets me sit crisscross, AND has an armrest wide enough for Tony to join me. my back is happy, I’m staying at my desk, and my couch is still a treat.
