Turning our backyard into a private oasis ✨🌿 phase 2 is underway and this one is already making such a difference. We planted Podocarpus along the fence for that lush, coastal privacy feel but if you’re in Florida, you know the soil holds so much water and these don’t love that. So we built up a raised bed with stacked stone to help with drainage (we’ve done this before and it works SO well 🙌🏼). Little tip that makes a big difference: we laid down cardboard underneath as a weed barrier 👏🏼 it’s easy, affordable, and breaks down naturally over time.
