All of your rug questions, in one post. Size tips: In living rooms, you ideally want every piece of furniture touching the rug. Just the front legs is fine. (I do this.) In bedrooms, shoot for an 8 x 10 or bigger for king beds (I like 9 x 12) and for queens or doubles, a 6 x 9 or 8 x 10. In dining rooms, the chairs should all be fully on the rug. Mine don’t touch fully when they’re pushed out, and I think that’s ok. Our entryway fits a 3x5 perfectly—bigger is better here, especially in colder months. LTKHome LTKSaleAlert
