Just a reminder that things on this app aren’t as quick as they appear. This room refresh is on month two of four. The TV I have been dreaming about for two years will be here on Saturday, the sofa I ordered in November is on backorder until March.
So in the meantime I Limewashed my fireplace with and I’m in love! Two years ago I white-washed it and since then I’ve never really been happy with it, it looked more like a gray-wash. I went back and forth on painting it, but could never pull the trigger.
This weekend after seeing another account I follow Limewash her stone fireplace I pulled the trigger. I cannot believe how easy it was, 10 minutes per coat. I chose to have it a solid color and mixed 2 parts Limewash to 1 part water. With my luck white brick fireplaces will be out next year, but I love it (my husband not so much...) and it definitely brightens up this small space. Next up, reframe the upper fireplace wall to give it a more modern look. http://liketk.it/2JEwY #liketkit @liketoknow.it
