Weekend plans?? Well since you asked I’m going to be Limewashing our fireplace. It’s either going to be good, or really bad! A couple years ago I whitewashed it and in person it looks gray and something I’ve never loved. If I fail I will have a good ole cry and just paint it. Of course I have to wait for my husband to be gone on Sunday so he can’t protest it..... Why a weird angle dresser pic? We've just installed the floors in our formal living room! It's hard to believe that we actually bought the flooring three years ago because I was worried that it would be discontinued. It's been seven years since we installed the same flooring throughout the rest of the downstairs.

While I was admiring the new floors, I started thinking about refreshing the artwork on our DIY picture ledge. So, I decided to round up some of my favorite digital art prints from Juniper Print Shop, which is my go-to source for artwork. I've already got a lot of their prints in my home, but I was excited to discover some new ones that I love.

Putting this together made me realize that I have a thing for trees, which I didn't think was so obvious before.

Now that things have slowed down for us we can finally get to installing the wood flooring in our living room that we’ve had for three years and give the room a refresh at the same time!

I’ve taken almost 1.5 years off of IG home decor and have found I’m a little rusty at creating mood boards, but I find that I enjoy this much more than posting pictures of my home and trying to make up something to say 😂 I plan to create mood boards that will have mostly affordable items and a couple of splurges.
