I'm hosting Thanksgiving next week but my home is having a little "personality" disorder. Christmas is being mixed in for sponsored work and it was really bothering me the mix/match. So, I think I am moving all Fall decor into the Dining room. Where we will spend most of Thanksgiving and then Xmas overflow into the other half of the house. eek. Hopefully, I don't confuse the childern.

The weeks is flying! A rental client, buyer client, and listing presentation this week! Thankful to be busy, not so thankful it was warmer when I left the house and then a temp dropped. Thankfully I had change of clothes in my work tote. (Just kidding, I’d didn’t, I froze).

Who knew how much I would miss dressing up in work clothes. COVID attire was fun at first but, I think it just added to the overall gloomy emotions. Since beginning my real estate career in October it feels great to get up every morning by 630am. Shower / dress / and head out the door to sell some homes. 😉

The power of taking care of yourself and dressing to feel good is real! If you are working from home, trust me I work from my home cause our offices are limiting capacity, I still dress the part. My office view on the daily. What you don’t see, a kid behind me on zoom. A kid upstairs on zoom. And the constant interruptions of “mom!”

What you also don’t see, the last 6 months wasn’t awful to be stuck together. I heard an influencer say recently that she felt like she has aged considerably since March, being home all day with the kids / family etc.

Of course there has been some not so great outcomes for us cause of covid but we have a roof over our head with a space for each of us to work so that we can only improve ourselves.

We got this.

I would just close their bedroom door so I wouldn’t have to see their mess. I can’t be the only mom of teen boys that do that 🙋🏻‍♀️🤣 BUT with time on my hands, I made my way into their room and realized that “we” had been using their closet as storage. It was filled with stuff they didn’t wear.
So, I took inventory, got them involved and order some items. We not only donated over 4 bags of clothing but the boys now have a closet that is functional and spacious!

Last week I hosted a gourmet ladies luncheon and the next day I was sick in bed for 2 days. Fun times! 🤣 I even made classic amaretto sours with raw white egg! Tasted delish but I don’t think my tummy was ready for it.
Over the last couple weeks I have taken so many photos of projects in my home and staging consults and excited to show it all. Now that I can finally sit up right for more than a few minutes.
