a quick tutorial on how we achieved this look in our loft bur first, FOLLOW @homewithstephannie on IG 1. We started off my choosing the deisgn and mouldings - linked below. 2. We cut the pieces based off our wall measurements, I went with what I thought looked best in my space and worked around the windos. I went with 6 inch boards mdf boards all around - (this is the spacing from the floor, middle, between boxes and ceiling). The corners were tricky, so for these we bought 3 inch boards and put them on each corner to make a corner V shape. 3. We measured the wall width, subtracted spaces and divided it by the number of boxes I wanted. In my case we did the middle box bigger so I measured that one first and then decided the size of the side ones. (this is hard to explain in writing) You can use an online moulding calculator 4. Then, we formed the boxes with mdf boards and in each box added the picture frame moulding cut in 45 degree angles using a miter saw and attached the pieces to the wall with a nail gun. 5. After that we caulked all the edges & filled the nail holes. We waited 1 full day before sanding! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . homedecorinspo interiordesign amazonhome diyhomedecor homedecor modernorganic easydiy neutralhome neutralhomedecor transitionaldesign neutralstyle diytutorial homerenovation accentwall diyhomedecor
