I make fresh lemonade a few times EVERY WEEK, and Watermelon Lemonade is literally one of my FAVORITE summer lemonades 🍉🍋☀️ But adding CHIA SEEDS?! Baby, that takes it to another level and gives my gut exactly what it needs. Watermelon is naturally refreshing and hydrating, lemons bring that fresh tart flavor, and chia seeds add fiber that helps support regular digestion and keeps this drink satisfying. And because we drink lemonade around here like WATER 😂, I’m making a BIG batch for the whole family! WATERMELON LEMONADE For my big batch I use: 🍋 10 fresh lemons 🍉 1/2 watermelon 💧 Water 🍯 Honey to taste, but use whatever sweetener you prefer 🌱 Chia seeds I juice the watermelon first, then juice all of my lemons. Add everything to a big pitcher, add your water and honey, then mix until you get the sweetness and lemonade flavor you love. When you’re ready to serve, add your chia seeds and let them soak for AT LEAST 30 minutes before drinking so they have time to fully hydrate. Serve it COLD over ice and ENJOYYYYY. Fresh homemade drinks will forever have my heart because I know exactly what’s going into them, I can control the sweetness, and I can make enough for my entire family. I use my Nama J2 Cold Pressed Juicer to juice the watermelon and my Nama Citrus Attachment to juice all those lemons because baby… we are NOT hand squeezing lemons.
