Took my 9 yr old grandson into New York City on the train for the day. It was his wish to ride on a train and see NYC, because his Grammy (me) told him it was cool. We had a sugar-filled brunch, checked out famous toy stores and experienced the magic of Times Square. We walked Bryant Park and he rode the carousel. Then, dinner at Serendipity 3, famous for their frozen hot chocolate dessert. He loved it! The hustle and bustle were just his speed! 😂 My outfit was comfortable for 6 1/2 hours on a train in one day, water repellent on a rainy afternoon (thanks to my Bernardo trench) and the denim shirt and silver trendy sneaks were stylish and fit right into the fashion scene.
