I was able to try Anniversary products before the start of the sale! Here’s what I saw and I’m dying to have. My everyday style is a bit sporty, hence the comfy high-collar Zella jacket & wide-leg pants, trendy windbreaker, track pants and 2 pair of sneakers. These kinds of things I live in when I’m off the clock! That bead necklace is so pretty, the cable cardigan a classic I’ll have forever. The handbag is a limited edition (that doesn’t scream the brand) and its convertible. A practical pair of brown suede ankle boots that are comfortable and well-made, body wash that smells like I think heaven might , and two pairs of jeans. Well, one is a pair of sweatpants jeans that I’m finally going to try if I can get them and the other is the jean that fits me (and everyone else I’ve tried it on) oh-so-well! This girl got new sneakers-exactly what I wanted and they’re on sale, BIGTIME. I’m typically between a 6 1/2 and a 7 inch shoes and I definitely needed the seven in this sneaker. No you do not have to run in them they’re fantastic for walking and every day wear as well.

Can we talk about midi skirts for a second? Because I know so many of you avoid them thinking they’ll make you look heavier — and I want to gently tell you that’s almost never true. It’s the styling.

The move is: define your waist (tucked top, open jacket, or a belt — pick one), then let the skirt flow. That’s it. That’s the whole secret. Both of these skirts are fitted right at the waist and have that soft movement below, which is exactly the silhouette that reads “effortlessly put together” instead of “drowning in fabric.”

And can we appreciate that midi skirts are basically a superpower in summer — cool, breathable, and they hide whatever you don’t feel like shaving, tanning, or dealing with today. We’ve all been there.

OK, these are just lovely. Merit’s new Signature Lip Liners are the rare kind that feel modern – soft, hydrating, nothing sharp or chalky. The round tip makes a harsh line pretty much impossible, so it’s that quiet little bit of structure that makes your whole face look more put together without any effort. I’m especially into them on the days I want a polished lip but can’t commit to full lipstick.
