If you’ve been wanting to refinish furniture but don’t know where to start, this is your sign. 🤎

A few beginner tips I wish I knew:
• Sand with the grain (80 → 120 → 180 grit)
• Wipe away all the dust before staining
• Use a wood conditioner before stain for a more even finish
• Apply thin coats and be patient—it makes all the difference

Products I used:
✨ Bosch sander
✨ Minwax Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner
✨ Minwax Dark Walnut Stain
✨ Behr Polyurethane (top coat)
✨ Lint-free rags for applying the stain

I also used Citristrip to remove the old finish. It wasn’t my favorite product to work with, but I know a lot of DIYers have great results with it.
