I saw this trend going around thought I’d try. But i think I’d rather refresh before bed and then use my bonnet to KEYP ASLEEP @keypbeautiful would you try this? Product details below + tips 👇🏼

✨ Step 1: Refresh spray only
No water needed. I start with a refresh spray to rehydrate + lightly dampen all of my hair.

I section and hit any knotted or undefined pieces with a gentle detangling brush + a little mousse. You can brush-define or finger coil—whatever your curls need.

How do you explain the feeling of doing your curly routine after a blowout to someone with straight hair? 😭✨
It’s like… your curls come back with a VENGEANCE!! Extra curly, extra juicy, because you treated them right before, during and after the heat.

1. Prep is EVERYTHING. I clarify, use bonding treatments from brands like @olaplex, always apply heat protectant, and avoid extreme heat for my blowouts.

2. No heat retouching — ever. Once it’s blown out, I keep it that way using protective overnight rods like @overnightblowout paired with my @keypbeautiful KEYP asleep bonnet to preserve and refresh without any added heat.

3Wash day is where the magic returns. I follow the full routine in this video to help my curls bounce back healthy — using products that balance moisture and strength for reliable, juicy results every time. ✨💧

my updated winter curly hair routine on my shorter hair❄️✨ comment ROUTINE and I’ll send you a link to all the products used and more info on why I use each product below🫶🏼

1. Scalp serum: my scalp gets drier in the cooler weather so using a scalp serum like this that contains hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture and glycolic acids to tone and balance really helps with the flakes and itching.

2. I never skip using a leave in conditioner that has atlessst 450 degree heat protection to protect my hair from the dryer!

3. I have thick course hair so using a thicker cream layered on top of the leave in conditioner really helps me soften the hair to make styling easier + helps me lock in moisture for a longer lasting style. This one in particular is amazing for moisture, shine and strengthening the bonds of my color treated hair.

4. I ALWAYS define with a brush in sections. It may take longer on wash day but it’s so important at making sure your product is properly distributed and making my wash day last even longer!! The extra time is totally worth it.

5. I always seal my wash days in with a strong hold gel or mousse to help protect against frizz

6. Always diffuse dry, especially in the colder months!! This helps protect my hair, scalp and prevents any extra frizz!!

7. Oil to loosen the cast, add shine and protect the hair!!

8. Light hold hairspray butterflied in for extra day 1 volume + hold!
