We may be a little late (the newborn trenches are real haha!), but we are over the moon to share this with you… Meet our daughter, Honey Rose Senn 🤍 Her name is as meaningful to us as it is beautiful. Honey was a name on my heart long before I became a wife or mama — inspired by Proverbs 16:24: “Kind words are like honey — sweet to the soul and healing to the body.” It came from a prayer that my children would always know they came from a place of unconditional love and kindness. When Ashton and I began dreaming about our future and the family we desired, I shared this name with him. Let’s just say…the unconventional choice was not his favorite at first 😂 But then came a season of deep loss, followed by a season of watching the Lord restore and redeem everything the enemy tried to steal from us. When we found out we were having a baby girl — the sweetest gift from that season of redemption — we knew Honey was the perfect name for our precious girl. Her name is a declaration over her life: that she will be an expression of life, sweetness, and healing from the Lord. Rose is equally special — honoring one of the strongest and most loyal women we know: my mom. The Rose of Sharon. Her love and fierce devotion have shaped me (and now Ashton) in ways words can’t fully capture. Our prayer is that our daughter carries the same grace and strength in the Lord as the women who came before her. So here she is — our best girl. Our answered prayer. Our greatest testimony. Honey Rose Senn — created in the image of the ultimate Creator and most loving Father. He has written every detail of her life so far, and we are in awe of His goodness and faithfulness. Our prayer for her is that she hears the voice of the Lord, walks intimately with Him, and fulfills the destiny and calling that He has placed within her. Her life will be a sweet fragrance before the throne of the Lord. What a gift she is 🤍
