This is the big birthday gift we got Wes - can you believe she’s turning 2?! 🥹 While it was a bit of a pain to build, I know she’s going to love it - so that makes it worth it to me!

I’m absolutely obsessed with this wooden Montessori climber we bought Wes for her 2nd birthday! But I have to be honest, building it was a total biatch! 😆😅 Worth saving a bunch of money since this is one of the more affordable toddler climbing gym options. But definitely not a walk in the park, haha. It took about 2 hours to out together, but hopefully you all can learn from my mistakes and get it done way faster if this is something you want for your toddler, too. Make sure you have a partner and a drill — then you should be good to go!

We finally found a realistic play kitchen that’s cute, sturdy, and AFFORDABLE!! 👏🏼

Of course I fell in love with a toddler kitchen set from Pottery Barn Kids 🙃, but I just couldn’t justify the price point. 💸

This Amazon option was less than half the price, and it’s just as cute and engaging. We don’t even have many accessories for it yet and my kids have played with it for hours. We love pretend play toys and can’t wait to get a few years of use out of this. 😊

The realistic play kitchen we found on Amazon for Wes and Luca! I mentioned we were building this toddler kitchen on stories this week, but I forgot to show you all the end result! 🙃 We love love pretend play toys and are all so obsessed with it!

Dane and I chose this option because it has so many features - a play refrigerator that actually dispenses ice, a coffee machine toy, a play stove, buttons that actually turn, and a few accessories like pots and pans. We like that it was a multi-purpose toy that was contained and could engage the kids for a while.

Another perk - this was very easy to build. Dane did it completely on his own in about 2 hours. No issues at all!

This would make such a perfect Christmas gift, especially if you want to do one big gift for kids vs. a bunch of little gifts.

Today’s project: bow organization! ✔️ Our girly has quite the bow collection these days, most of which come in sets of 2. I wanted to organize them in a way that didn’t take up too much space, but also made it easy to find what I’m looking for and put things away. This hanging bow organizer from Amazon did the trick! These vintage, stretchy wide leg jeans are a MUST for moms who want their jeans to feel more like leggings. And they come in petite sizing!!! 🎉 They are definitely a splurge, but I’m a less is more girlie - I’d rather have a few really great staples than a bunch of trendy pieces. That’s what these are for me - classic jeans that I’ll use on repeat and keep for years to come. I’m between a 26 petite and 27 petite right now, and in these I went with the 26. I just got done building this toddler climber for our basement play area, and OOF - I can’t breathe! 😮‍💨😂 I sweat through my sweatsuit doing this, but I’m VERY happy with the result. It’s so aesthetically pleasing, and it was super affordable compared to similar options.

See the second slide for building tips so you don’t make the same mistakes I did! This is a solid Amazon find once it’s built. But building didn’t come that easy for me.
