I was eyeballing it and ended up using a little extra water and it still worked. All the gunk lifted great! How to Clean Your Garbage Can: 1. Initial rinse of the inside 2. Scrub inside sides + rinse 3. Turn sideways + drain 4. Scrub bottom, inside lid, + anything on sides that didn’t initially come off 5. Rinse inside + flip upside down 6. Scrub outside sides + lid 7.
