Want to spend less time cooking, but don’t want to meal prep every weekend? 🤨

👉🏼 Try batch cooking!

Whenever you have to spend time making a meal, double or triple the recipe! Even if it’s just the meat portion. This will create intentional leftovers that you and your family can eat over the next couple of days or freeze for later.

I love batch cooking chicken, pork tenderloin, ground turkey taco meat, sweet potatoes, roasted veggies, quinoa, and brown rice. It’s nice to have healthy items consistently on hand that can be mixed and matched to create a variety of meal combinations.

I also batch cook egg white, veggie, and chicken sausage bowls twice per week for a delicious and protein-packed breakfast.

Batching doesn’t just optimize time spent cooking - it gives you more time for family and friends, saves you money when you can buy in bulk, and ultimately saves you the stress of having to cook every single meal every single day.

I prefer this method to spending precious weekend time meal prepping, especially during these warmer months. There’s just so much I’d rather be doing!

Set up our patio furniture this week and decided to add a little privacy wall behind it using faux outdoor trees Dane found on Amazon! Going to fill in these planters with either rocks or rubber mulch, still deciding. But so far very happy with how this turned out! We didn’t want to plant real trees here because we were afraid they would draw in the deer. Plus, we didn’t want the roots so close to the house and patio. The trees, planters, and our outdoor furniture is all linked!

A comfy spring outfit idea - and the linen pants are on sale for under $30! Come in petite, too, but I bought regular and had them hemmed for a most custom fit. My oversized jean jacket is on sale at Target, too… only $32! I sized down in both pieces just one size bc they’re both pretty oversized size IMO.
