Want to spend less time cooking, but don’t want to meal prep every weekend? 🤨 👉🏼 Try batch cooking! Whenever you have to spend time making a meal, double or triple the recipe! Even if it’s just the meat portion. This will create intentional leftovers that you and your family can eat over the next couple of days or freeze for later. I love batch cooking chicken, pork tenderloin, ground turkey taco meat, sweet potatoes, roasted veggies, quinoa, and brown rice. It’s nice to have healthy items consistently on hand that can be mixed and matched to create a variety of meal combinations. I also batch cook egg white, veggie, and chicken sausage bowls twice per week for a delicious and protein-packed breakfast. Batching doesn’t just optimize time spent cooking - it gives you more time for family and friends, saves you money when you can buy in bulk, and ultimately saves you the stress of having to cook every single meal every single day. I prefer this method to spending precious weekend time meal prepping, especially during these warmer months. There’s just so much I’d rather be doing! Give it a try this week and let me know what you think! 👏🏼 PS: Linking my cooking essentials, like my favorite pots and pans and other kitchen gadgets, for you! LTKHome LTKVideo LTKFamily
