DIY cotton candy costume —
grab a onesie (size up), dye your poly fill, and glue!

STEPS:
1. take the poly-fil out of bag and pull apart
2. mix dye with hot or boiling water in a spray bottle
3. spray the top of the poly-fil until lightly covered. Wait to dry for at least 24 hours.
4. Insert a pillow into onesie to use as a mold (optional)
5. take the adhesive spray and spray a small section of the outfit, then grab a small piece of poly-fil and place it on the section you sprayed. Hold in place for 2-3 seconds. Continue this process until the whole outfit is covered.

Hat/cotton candy props
1. Roll card stock (or double up printer paper and roll) and tape to hold it together
2. Spray adhesive glue on the end of the cone. Get a small amount of poly-fil and place it on the section you sprayed. Hold in place for 2-3 seconds. spray adhesive on the poly-fil going up in a round direction- Continue adding until it looks like cotton candy
3. For a hat, spray adhesive to the bottom if the cotton candy fluff. Hold a bow (or headband for adult) on for 2-3 seconds and let it dry for at least 30 minutes

distribution box:
1, grab a cardboard box (we used an old Amazon one)
2. cut out 3 holes (about 2” in diameter) on the top.
3. paint the box white (2-3 coats) and let it dry overnight.
4. Paint pink and blue stripes (I mixed them with white so they would be light) let it dry overnight
5. Use an exact knife to cut tiny holes on each end for the ribbon. Pull the ribbon through and tie a know on the inside of the box.

DONE! super simple and super quick! the easiest last minute DIY costume (it took me 3 days total, just spent about an hour or 2 each day on it because #busymomlife and had to let it all dry!)
