WEEKLY SHOWER REVIEW: @weareparadoxx Full Volume Collection 🚿🧖🏻‍♀️ I have naturally super coarse, straight hair so it tends to fall flat and lack volume. I’m always on the hunt for a good volumizing shampoo or texture spray so I was sooo excited to try this Full Volume Collection from WE ARE PARADOXX. Here’s my review:

- The shampoo left my hair feeling hydrated and refreshed. It was lightweight and the smell reminded me of a fresh beachy scent! It’s formulated with ingredients like babassu oil & matcha green tea and the formula is 91% natural, which I love!

- Next up is the conditioner! My hair felt super nourished and conditioned after using. It’s formulated with coconut and hazelnut oils, along with matcha green tea just like their shampoo!

- Before blow drying I used their Volume Blow Dry Spray. This definitely helped speed up the blow dry process and gave my hair an extra smooth and glossy look.

- Last but not least I finished my routine with the Volume Texture Spray. I LOVE how this added texture to my waves and even gave them a lightweight hold and of course, extra volume.

Full Morning Routine using my @cocokind goodies 🌞🌿

Loving how fresh and hydrated these products made my skin feel!

First I used the Oil to Milk Cleanser which was so gentle and smelled like chamomile + geranium. It removed any dirt and makeup without stripping my skin of moisture 💦

Next I spritz’d my skin with the Rosewater Facial Toner to help hydrate and balance 🌹

I followed up with the Texture Smoothing Cream which was so soothing and literally felt like a green juice for my skin 🍏🌿

Last but not least I used their Daily SPF which blended into my skin seamlessly and felt really hydrating and light.

WEEKLY SHOWER REVIEW: VERB Hydrating Shampoo, Purple Mask, and Ghost Dry Oil 🚿🧖🏻‍♀️

I’ve always been a fan of VERB haircare products so I thought I would share some of my all time favorites with you to tell you why these are STAPLES in my shower routine! Here’s my review:

- This color-safe Hydrating Shampoo is sooo moisturizing and gentle. Your hair feels very soft after without feeling weighed down! It has a light grapefruit and oatmeal scent 🍊 I personally love that their products smells so fresh but never overbearing.

- Next up is the Purple Mask 💜 It’s sooo good for toning, brightening, and hydrating your hair! When you’re looking a little brassy this mask softens and tones yellow hues.

- After my hair air drys I spray the Ghost Dry Oil all over my ends. It helps hydrate, tame frizz, add shine, and smell sooo yummy.

If you haven’t tried any VERB I highly recommend them! It’s luxury haircare at a more affordable price. I’m seriously obsessed with everything I’ve tried! xx #theproductgal

Here’s your reminder to STOP PICKING YOUR SKIN. One of the top causes of acne-scarring and dark spots is picking at blemishes on your face that aren’t ready to be extracted yet. I am totally guilty of picking at pre-mature pimples in hopes it will just go away faster but the truth is the red or dark scar from picking usually lasts for weeks or months 😭 Here is one of my favorite products and tips to help stop the picking:

SAVE or SPLURGE PT. 1 🤷🏻‍♀️

It can be difficult to know when you should SAVE or SPLURGE on certain products in your skincare routine. Today I’ll be covering whether expensive Vitamin C serums are worth the investment or if the drugstore version is just as effective 👇🏽

First, Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps to protect your skin from free radical damage and environmental stressors. Think of it as an extra layer of protection in addition to your sunscreen 🌞 It leaves you with brighter, more radiant skin and also has amazing anti-aging benefits like reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation!

The MOST effective Vitamin C serums have between 10-20% L-ascorbic acid (the best form of Vit C) and you definitely want a concentration that’s higher than 8%! Other ingredients to look for in your Vitamin C serum is Vitamin E and ferulic acid — these ingredients together will give you the maximum effectiveness.

If it fits within your budget, a high-quality Vitamin C serum is definitely a product I would SPLURGE on in your skincare routine. Today I'm crushing on The Removalist from @gotoskincare. This luscious clay mask has kaolin clay which draws out excess oil, sebum, and impurities from the skin, along with calming and soothing zinc oxide, and pepper berry fruit extract which helps to reduce redness.

I've been using this mask specifically on my t-zone which tends to get the oiliest on my face! It's a quick ten minute mini facial that I use once a week!

This is a goood one! This Red Algae Mask from @oseamalibu is formulated with French Red Clay to help with blemish-prone or congested skin! I literally look forward to using this mask once every 1-2 weeks because it really does feel like a little at-home spa treat!

When you first apply this mask your skin will tingle a bit, but trust me, wait the full 10-20 minutes before you rinse it off! It's working to cleanse and decongest your pores, while drawing out impurities and excess oil on the skin.

I even will use this mask as an overnight spot treatment if I have a breakout.
