TRANSPARENCY MOMENT🤍 38 weeks in vs 8 weeks out! What you see in this picture is my transformation so far. I'm down from 165lbs to 140lbs (5lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight). What you don't see is the frustration, tears, sleep deprivation, and self doubt I've experienced. For me postpatrum has been a JOURNEY and a lot harder than I thought it would be. Like so many other women I had this notion that I would "snapback", however I realized that was not realistic and only contributed to a mentally toxic environment. I've completely dismissed that thought and instead have focused on getting back into a routine that makes me feel good. Working out has always been an outlet for me. Not because of how it makes me look, but because of how it makes me feel. Energized, empowered, confident, and happy. My goal is to aim for 4-5 days per week in the gym and clean up my diet. I'm sure going to miss the late night cookies and snacks while pumping 😩 To all the mamas working through postpartum behind the scenes and still showing up for their family as their best, I see you, keep going!
