DIY this modern vintage mushroom lamp with no paint and no mess.

1. Clip-on lamp shade attached to an LED lantern
2. Place a puck light in the bottom of a clear vase.
3. Line the vase with a white sheet of paper by rolling it into a cylinder and trimming off the excess paper.
4. Place the shade on to of the vase and voila!
5. Add optional fairy lights for a brighter lamp!

Early morning sunshine and good reads 📖☀️❤️. I started reading this biography about Ghandi….I’m about 20% in and not sure what I think about the man who was so highly regarded by so many people….but definitely a good read!

Decor Tip: If your books double as decor in your home remove the paper covers they come with….chances are there’s a beautiful hardcover underneath with a much prettier aesthetic!

Makes these easy DIY faux amber glass/tortoise shell ornaments using plastic ornaments from dollar tree or Michaels.

I’ve seen a lot of tutorials to make these. Most of them tell you to paint the inside. FYI, that is very difficult and very messy and takes forever to dry. After lots of trial and error I’ve found that the easiest way is spot painting, or dripping, alcohol ink, all over the outside of the ornaments. Alcohol ink is completely transparent and very easy to work with. There is very little dry time and you can layer it as much or as little as you want!

I made these ones that exact way and then I added gold rub n buff and some gold leaf to a few of them for a gilded look!

Created a little coffee station in our guest room with the @Keurig mini! It fits perfectly on top of this IKEA Ivar cabinet that I recently made over! ⁣

Initially I was going to put a small espresso maker like the one I have in my kitchen but I couldn’t find one that would fit the narrow space… So I went with a Keurig mini and it worked out perfectly plus it’s a lot easier to use than my espresso machine.⁣

This little coffee machine is the perfect touch in our guest room especially if your guests wake up before you and want a cup of coffee!⁣

I love having guests over at our house and whenever you have an overnight guest it’s good to make them feel as comfortable as possible in your home. I also filled this cabinet with anything that overnight guests might need like extra towels, soap, tampons, face wash, etc…… Even bottled water, snacks and alcohol! ⁣

One of the easiest ways to dress up your space is with faux plants & flowers but for a more realistic look make sure you purchase fabric flowers and not the cheap looking plastic ones. I purchased this perfect little faux potted plant then added some pretty silk roses and wisteria to make it a little more girly! Linking everything here via LTK!!
