Witchy reads for spooky season! I read Hester in 2 days…excellent book (IMO). in a nutshell, Hester is basically a fictional inspiration for Nathaniel Hathorne’s, “The Scarlett Letter”, but told from Hester Prynne’s POV…so if you like historical fiction…this is a great book! The Year of the Witching is a much darker read with elements of radical religion, racism, witches and more…not sure what I think about it just yet but so far it’s worth the read!
