I’m wearing a small in the top and my typical size 26 in the white jeans. Some places deserve their own highlight reel. The Presidential Suite at @the_greenbrier is one of them. My mom was Miss West Virginia in 1976. My parents honeymooned here. My grandparents have been coming since the 1950s. I have been walking these halls my entire life. This place is woven into our family story in a way I can't fully put into words. So when I finally got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Presidential Suite, I knew it needed its own moment. Seven bedrooms. Two stories. Sleeps 14. Entertains 200. A grand piano. A private library. Hand-painted wallpaper in the dining room that is honestly a work of art. Designed by Dorothy Draper in 1947. I know I know — I showed you these jeans a couple weeks ago and I stand by everything I said. They look strange on the hanger. They look weird on the website. But in person? On a real body? They are everything. Do not let the model photo scare you off.
Pairing them with another one of my cashmere tees because once you find a formula that works you just keep going.
Now can we talk about my mom for a second — she is wearing the exact same dress I had on last night and it looks absolutely gorgeous on her too. But here is the thing I really want you to see: we are six inches apart in height and look at how dramatically that changes the hemline. Same dress. Two completely different lengths. Two completely different looks. This is why fit is everything and why height always has to be part of the conversation when you are shopping.
My sister is in a dress that could absolutely go to dinner but she is keeping it casual for a resort day — stretchy, comfortable, and completely versatile. That is the move.
Sizing: I am in a small on the tee, a size 26 in the jeans, and the leopard dress is a size one. My mom and I are both typically a size six in dresses.

The most perfect backdrop for spring pieces — The Greenbrier did not disappoint.
The shorts and matching blazer were made for a resort casual moment, especially with a little chill in the air. Once I put this on here I knew it was exactly right. The kind of set that works so many places but somehow looks best somewhere beautiful.
The white skirt with the green tee and cardigan — that green is still my absolute favorite color right now and I cannot stop wearing it. I flew home in this exact set that afternoon and got compliments the entire way. Comfortable, polished, and completely put together without trying.
