I wanted to post this picture because it’s described my mood perfectly the past 24 hours. Sassy and just over it. Actually, this head tilt, resting bitch face look is pretty typical for me since I’m deep in thought about what I’m going to eat for lunch or the workout I plan on doing after work. Also, the mood of my 3 year old has put me in quite the funk and it’s hard to pull myself out of it. I question my parenting when she throws these epic tantrums.
I forced myself to go run at 630 this morning to sweat out all the negativity energy. Surprisingly (or not) I feel 1000x better! Now I’m looking forward to spending time with my family tonight and taking a step forward in a positive direction.

Starting this week off on a different foot and filling myself with gratitude. I had a rough end to my Mother’s Day after Ava had one heck of a tantrum and meltdown. I went to bed angry and frustrated but woke this morning realizing it’s all a phase. While at times her mood puts pressure on our entire house I know that this too shall pass...in time.

Is it Friday yet? This week is already off to a rocky start because I’m a mom of girls. Attitudes. Tantrums. Breakdowns. Emotions. You make it, we’ve been through it. My patience has been stretched thin, I’ve had outbursts on the girls and I’ve felt genuinely frustrated with my parenting this week and it’s only Monday. Some days are easier than others which is the best tag line for motherhood ever. I have to remind myself it’s only one day, take deep breathes and it will all be okay because they love me no matter what. And snuggles cure everything.

Getting a bit more personal on the blog today sharing how I was able to find self love. Before I met Adam I wasn’t in the best place in my life and went through a serious of poor life choices until one day I stood in front of the mirror and had an honest talk with my self. From that moment on I dig myself out of the hole I was living in and moved forward. It started with forgiveness and then opening my life up to new experiences. I’m so grateful I had that talk because 7 years later I’m with my true love and have 2 beautiful girls.
I’m also sharing this cute cardigan because it’s Monday and this post shouldn’t be too serious and too sad. There is a bright side to it all!

So many bell sleeves. So little time. Still obsessed with a good bell sleeve these days especially for work. I know I know. A little weird and not the combo you would think works well together. It’s been a while! I have been locked out of my account for a week now which has caused some serious frustration on my end and of course no response or resolution on the other end. I’m so Type A that when it falls outside of my control I get a serious case of the “irritating mood”. Then I throw all my energy into other projects like cleaning, organizing and housework. Adam and I had a chance to get out of the house on Saturday which was good for my soul. I always forget how important it can be to get away from the girls, even though I miss them like crazy when we are apart. My relationship with my husband should be more of a priority and I am okay admitting that is not always the case.
