Per requests wanted to compare the fit of the Aritzia Constant coat in a different fabric

Even in the same style name, I found that the thicker fabrics fit more oversized while the thinner ones are more slim .

• this one is in their regular wool in Seville and this is xxs. Longer length with slimmer fit throughout compared to the wool cashmere. Menswear inspired look with shoulder pads.

• The black Constant coat I recently shared in a separate LTk post is made of Wool Cashmere, a thicker more plush fabric option. In comparison It fits more oversized on me at the shoulders and throughout the coat, but also feels more warm.

Both materials are fully lined.

FYI this coat definitely has pockets! Several reviews said the pockets are fake but it’s just stitched shut for shipping and you’re supposed to open it after purchasing. I opened mine with small scissors and they’re real pockets.

Trying on the Aritzia Cocoon coat xxs - this coat is a thicker weight with a slightly plush wool cashmere fabric. Material felt soft and warm with a unique standup cocoon collar. I tried on xxs in both the long and short length and liked both for very different looks. The sleeves of the xxs are a little long on me. Also linked the Connor coat which is a flattering belted wrap style.

Black Friday: Only time of the year the popular jcrew cashmere pieces go on sale! Linked the 3 that I have now on sale.

• J. Crew brushed cashmere shrunken crewneck sweater in leopard print XS. These run a little small so I sized up for a relaxed fit. This brushed cashmere is Soo soft cozy and luxe!

• Petite Daphne topcoat in boiled wool navy size 00 petite. this is a textured wool coat that is a J. Crew classic.

Note that the torso is un-lined with sleeves that are lined, and that in general J. Crew petite coat sleeve lengths run on the shorter side.

The 00P is a slim fit on me while the 00 regular also works on me but the 00 regular is about 1.5 inches longer in the total length and sleeve length with a slightly roomier fit.

This is a California level winter or New England Fall weight coat, not as thick weight as the other coats I’ve been reviewing.

• J. Crew slim wide jeans 24 petite in dark blue resin rinse- these are some of my most flattering jeans. Slightly wide straight cut, works with flats or heels or booties for me.

• Colette bow pumps size 5.5. In usually between 5 and 5.5 and found the latter to fit better. Comfortable for a heel and well made.

This is the shorter version, and I’m trying on xxs which is slim fit and flattering on me with sleeves a tad long. It also comes in a longer length which I personally like since I prefer midi lengths For fabric choices, there is melton or virgin wool which is thinner and more slim fit looking , and also wool cashmere which is thicker, and seems a little warmer with a slightly more plush hand feel All 3 of the different wool material options are linked!

I got these gentle souls boots in black last year and loved them so much, I hunted down dark brown and taupe as well as my city walking boots.

Size up if between sizes. I’m usually a 5 to 5.5 and went up to 5.5 since the front toe felt a little narrow.

These have a cushioned insole, flexible rubber outsole, and a slim stretchy ankle shaft that works perfectly tucked under jeans and pants or with tights.

Note: this boot comes out in new iterations each year with a different style name, but I’ve found them to all be extremely similar. My 3 pairs all have a different style name (ie the Ella boot) but looks and feel nearly the same
