A few items I ordered from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, now open to all shoppers! Ordered the mock neck rib sweater top after trying a different size in person. Found it to be Surprisingly flattering and the shoulders help balance out a looser or wider cut bottom. Dress buttons down all the way. I got xxs and it’s petite friendly. Also nursing and maternity outfit friendly due to the stretch knit. I machine washed mine and found it to be easy care.

• Banana Republic lightweight sweater dress xxs. Versatile and chic. This one draped beautifully, grazes over my figure and doesn’t cling to the belly or rear.

I’m 5 feet tall and it’s a midi / maxi length on me with flats

It’s a dress and not meant to be a cover up but I have also worn it this way

• J.Crew bikini xs in top, xxs in bottoms.

Top is supportive and secure with adjustable straps and can also be worn as a strapless. The ruched extra high rise bottoms are very comfy and belly friendly

Casual weekend athleisure outfit

• New Balance 327, super lightweight. I tried both women’s and kids , and got the kids which have a slightly less chunky sole.

The women’s has a slightly higher platform as well and feels a little more substantial but otherwise looks pretty similar The kids run half size big. I got size kids 3.5 = women’s 5/5.5. I’m usually always a kids 4 in sneakers, but these in a kids size 4 fit like a women’s 6. The women’s sizing is true to size and does not run big, I fit this style in a women’s 5.5.

The 530 style (also linked) is so incredibly comfy! Runs about half size big. Women’s 5.5 feels like a 6 to me

• minimal strappy sandals. Love these and bought two colors! I’m usually 5 or 5.5 in most brands and a 5.5 here fit me best. FYI the front strap is a little narrow across the toes but is still comfortable for me. Lightly cushioned with a small stacked heel. The simple sleek sandals I have been searching for!

• drape weave vest 00. Slim fit and lightweight, Have loved this since last year. I wear it often with jeans or a black slip skirt. I took the shoulders up a little to make it more cropped but it was not a necessary adjustment.

Flattering lace detail swimsuit on major sale

• Becca swimsuit XS - love that this has a couple of adjustable features like the sliding shoulder straps and the tie back on this swimsuit.

The inner band for the lower bust shelf bra hits a little high on my 5′ tall frame, but it’s still comfortable. Decent rear coverage and the lace cutouts create the illusion of a flattering, nipped in waistline.

Under $100 Eye catching and flattering cotton maxi dress is back from last year!

Just note this is long and I’m wearing high heels

•Chelsea28 maxi dress size xxs - stretchy, flattering and comfortable due to the smocked waist. If between sizes I’d size down bc of all the stretch

Feels Bump friendly due to the higher waistline and nursing friendly from pulling down the shoulders .

I’m 5ft tall and my ideal heel height for this is at least 3” to keep the hem fully off the ground. The full flared skirt is double layered and the dress has a heavier weight to it. I mentioned last year you could cut / shorten the lining skirt to reduce weight.

I’m wearing sam Edelman heels, but am also Linking the lightweight schutz platform sandals I love. These platforms would keep this dress a few inches off the ground for someone my height

the best wide leg work pants! Also on sale in linen. 00P (fits me well; smaller than Ann Taylor pants). Quality fabric and flattering cut.

For petites if you want a full length to wear with flats, try the regular sizing . I’m five feet tall and the 00 regular linked works perfectly with my flat adidas sambas sneakers.

Petite 00 measures: 24” inseam, 9.5” rise, 12.5” across the waist

Regular 00 measures: 26.5” inseam, 10” rise, 13” across the waist

Such a pretty and petite friendly maxi dress! Tried on Xs and it’s fitted on me in the torso with stretch, almost like an xxs in the chest. fully lined throughout.

No bra needed for me because of the pattern and lining

Smocked back so this is fairly bump friendly (I’d probably size up for a bump), adjustable length straps (nursing friendly to pull down), and you can wear this for daytime with flats or dress it up at night or for a spring wedding guest outfit

Spring athleisure outfit with a tunic top to throw over leggings

Varley double soft fabric feels so luxe for loungewear- lives up to their rave reviews! I used code VARLEY10 for 10% off

• Sweatshirt tunic in Taupe xxs - oversized relaxed fit with longer back length for wearing with leggings. Drawstring waist. the sleeve length is also a little long on me (pushed up in this pic).

I ordered several Varley doublesoft pieces to try and also kept the Davidson half zip linked in xxs - it’s a shorter length than their other pullovers and a nice relaxed fit for petites!

• Varley High Rise Legging 25 in Taupe Stone xs - the xs is long on me - hems are folded under.

The xxs is too skin tight on me so I sized up to Xs. I've also linked a similar neutral legging from Lululemon that comes in a more petite friendly 23 or 25" inseam. The lulu has more of a lighter and cooler tone color

• sneakers are New Balance 327s size kids 4 which fits like a women’s 6.

I can also wear their women’s 5.5 in this sneaker style. Super lightweight!
