My quick, easy method for an instant transformation 💫

10/10 recommend - just buy the next size up. You will look and feel so much better INSANTLY.

AND - here is an important REMINDER = it is more than OK to size up in your clothes. BODIES CHANGE. Clothes are meant to fit you - you are not meant to fit the clothes.

There is literally zero shame EVER in sizing up.

I always felt like I had failed if my jeans didn’t do up. Or if a dress I used to love, no longer zips up. I felt like that was an actual failure. “I’d let myself go”. Crying that my size 8 ripped skinny jeans I bought in my early 20s no longer get past my knees...

I would rather squeeze and poke myself into a smaller size, pushing my organs into my ribcage, pinching my skin into zips, cutting off blood circulation when I say down, than admit that I needed to buy a new pair of jeans in a different size. Wearing clothes that were too small would make me feel so uncomfortable, irritable, embarrassed etc but at the time it was better than admitting I needed a size up. And honestly - I have no idea why? ( I can now see it was the insane pressure of stupid unrealistic beauty standards that were drilled into women when we were like 4 years old)

BUT I am so sorry to myself - I was so wrong. SIZE UP. Just BUY BIGGER JEANS. Being comfortable and confident in an item of clothing is SO MUCH BETTER and so much more important THAN ANY SILLY LITTLE NUMBER that no one else cares or knows about. And I personally believe I look better and more flattering in the correct size.

Not to mention the entire “sizing system” is broken, it differs from shop to shop, from item to item in the same shop, from colour ways of the SAME JEAN. Everywhere has different sizing systems or numbers - you are a small in one place and an XL in the next. Stop trying to tailor your body to made up numbers that mean nothing yet have such a power to define someone’s worth?

It is just an item of clothing. If it doesn’t fit - don’t buy it, don’t keep it, don’t measure your entire self worth & happiness over it.

You are beautiful and worthy and divine. Buy the bigger pair of jeans and enjoy it 🤍

Ok. Love you bye. Buy bigger jeans.
