How does the new Longchamp Le Pliage mocha color compare to the original ebony color? 🤎 Comment SHOP & I’ll dm you the links 🤎 Longchamp discontinued their ebony color is 2024 and their main brown Le Pliage was the mocha color from the green line which had a monochromatic look, silver hardware the the iconic green line in the tabs. Then for some reason Longchamp discontinued the green line and we didn’t have any brown Le Pliage options. This year right before fall they came out with the mocha color in the original Le Pliage line. People have asked me to compare it to ebony so here are the main differences: Ebony is ever so slightly deeper and warmer but honestly the difference is so minimal, I think you would be happy with either color. The mocha is definitely the same as the green line mocha so it is a cooler tone. The leather trimmings and gold hardware are the same except the new mocha Le Pliage has a bronze like dark zipper. I prefer the darker warmer tone of ebony but like it said it’s close enough that I’m happy with the new mocha tote!
